About the event:
The best way to spend an afternoon is by attending this event. The Sunset Market covers four city blocks with about 200 hundred merchants! The event is San Diego’s top weekly music and food street fair. You get to enjoy the nightlife to remember with local bands here and there performing songs you know and songs you have yet to discover. Music is not the only thing that flows in the air, but the mouthwatering aroma of various food sure to make your stomach growl! These are not your simple local dishes–they’re from all over the world prepared by the best chefs in town, both locals and visitors alike!
There’s also that eclectic shopping where you can browse through items and even find a treasure of your own. It’s also a great way to look for souvenirs your friends or family might like on their person–from keychains to tees and dresses.
Of course, the Market welcomes children of all ages as they also feature Dorothy’s KidZone, full of activities for kids. So you get to enjoy the Market without worrying about your children!
The Sunset Market is at the heart of Downtown Oceanside, right at the corner of Pier View Way. The Market is open only on Thursdays from 5 PM to 9 PM.
